The Role

StarLeaf is hiring a Business Systems Support Administrator to join its awesome team at its HQ in Croxley, on the outskirts of London.

As Business Systems Support Administrator you’ll bring your collaborative and ambitious flair to the Business Operations team to ensure the ongoing support of our CRM (SalesForce) and business operations platforms at StarLeaf, including our Zuora billing system. This is an exciting opportunity to have a significant impact on the ongoing adoption of business systems in a fast growing environment.

The successful candidate will report to the Business Operations Manager and will support the ongoing maintenance and administration of existing Salesforce and billing systems as well as the planning and development of our new business systems or processes.


The successful candidate will work closely with functional managers and organisational teams, to support the day to day configuration, maintenance and improvement of Salesforce and take responsibility for investigating and configuring new business operations systems.

Salesforce Administration Support

  • First line support for Salesforce user queries
  • Visibility/Permissions
    • Setting up new users
    • Maintaining profiles and visibility
    • Maintain Salesforce roles and profiles to match the company growth
  • Reports (non-Sales reports)
    • Creating reports to aid business process and productivity
    • Maintaining reports and folders
    • Deleting unused reports
  • Reviewing data quality (Accounts, Contacts Opportunities)
  • Assisting with managing and maintaining fields and objects
  • Page layouts/lightning page layouts

Billing System Support

  • Creating and maintaining product catalog and pricing configuration
    • Continuously audit the link between account, subscriptions and account platform objects
  • Quoting and approval
    • Manage user permissions for approval
    • Build and maintain rules for quote generation
    • Ensure that reports generated from billing system objects remain accurate and functional following an modifications to the billing system configuration

New system investigation and support

As StarLeaf continues to grow, new business requirements will be realised and a key component of this role is to work with the operations team to investigate, compare and configure new or existing tools to meet these requirements.

A successful candidate will be able to show clear understanding and experience of interpreting new business requirements, planning an appropriate solution and being a central part of the execution of delivery of a new solution, business process or tool.

Salesforce Documentation

  • Creation of Salesforce Dev team documents
  • Assistance with creating training/onboarding material for employees
  • Creating and maintaining process flow diagrams
  • Support with rolling out new feature training, communicating with system champions with any new features where relevant


  • Over two years of Salesforce administration experience
  • Administration of, or exposure to, external billing systems and CPQ (Zuora)
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines and report accurately and transparently on progress
  • Handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, using project tools such as jira or support tickets
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience interpreting business problems and architecting a solution using new or existing tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources
  • Basic SQL experience
