Responsibilities:

PR

  • Set a proactive PR strategy aligned to StarLeaf objectives
  • Own the development and execution of the corporate StarLeaf PR plan, working closely with the wider marketing team and local PR agencies in the US, France and Germany
  • Develop effective PR campaigns that support our lead generation efforts in key global regions, positioning StarLeaf as a thought leader
  • Execute tactics and secure engagement and coverage from media outlets and consumers in the market
  • Create new and maintain existing relationships with global media outlets – liaising with journalists to broaden the coverage for StarLeaf
  • Handle all PR enquiries and communicate with external websites and media organisations to ensure StarLeaf is included on websites that are relevant to both us and our customers, ensuring products are promoted effectively
  • Draft press releases, placed articles, interview talking points and all social posts
  • Provide PR counsel to company spokespeople including our executive team and advise spokespeople on topics, approach, messages and strategy with the media
  • Manage PR and social reporting and measurement

Analyst relations:

  • Create, manage and deliver an analyst relations plan that utilises third parties to win incremental new business through referrals and endorsements from analysts that advise our prospects and customers
  • Plan analyst briefings around major announcements and support analyst briefing requests for product demos
  • Own social channels, working with internal stakeholders and the content marketing team to develop an appropriate tone of voice and an ongoing social content calendar, and help drive engagement through social channels
  • Establish analyst relationships and quickly build brand recognition with the analyst community
  • Manage regular briefings for StarLeaf executives with priority analysts to gain coverage in analyst reports

Social:

  • Own social channels, working with internal stakeholders and the content marketing team to develop an appropriate tone of voice and an ongoing social content calendar, and help drive engagement through social channels

Requirements

Key skills

  • Excellent writing and editing skills and the ability to write compelling copy are a must
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to create strong relationships both internally and externally to promote StarLeaf to a global audience
  • Ability to organise and plan PR strategies together with the tactics needed to achieve StarLeaf ambitions
  • Inter-personal skills are vital for developing relationships with media representatives, handling difficult situations and advising people within StarLeaf
  • Experience in the B2B technology sector or similar
  • Good project management skills
  • Experience working in a global organisation
  • Enjoys working in a varied and fast-paced environment
  • Confident personality
  • Creative outlook

Qualifications

  • Educated to graduate level (BA/MA degree in marketing, advertising or communications or a PR postgraduate qualification is preferable)
  • 5-10 years’ experience in public relations, either in-house or in an agency, is a minimum
