StarLeaf, a leading provider of cloud-based messaging, voice and video collaboration solutions, has today been named in The Sunday Times Tech Track – one of the most prestigious listings for rapidly growing technology companies in the UK. The Watford-based company was ranked 48th in the 100-strong list.
First published in 2001, the annual Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 league table ranks Britain’s private technology, media and telecoms (TMT) companies with the fastest-growing sales. The Tech Track 100 adopts the London Stock Exchange’s Techmark definition of a technology company, showing a commitment to research, innovation and product development.
Founded in 2008, StarLeaf focuses on the needs of the business communications market. Prioritising ease-of-use for customers, the company delivers the highest quality call and communication services, as well as quality network monitoring and call control. Its list of customers include major brands like Northumbrian Water, Travelex, and Dr. Martens. StarLeaf is used widely across these organisations, improving collaboration and providing huge efficiency and cost savings, which in turn have enabled these businesses to significantly progress their revenue and sales targets.
StarLeaf’s portfolio is built across two critical business lines. Teamline by StarLeaf allows organisations, currently using Skype for Business, and looking forward to using Microsoft Teams, to deploy meeting room solutions that can work seamlessly with both Microsoft platforms. Addressing all meeting rooms, from small huddle spaces to large conference suites, Teamline has been built from the ground up to mirror the Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams experience, enabling an uninterrupted collaboration workflow from desktops to meeting rooms. The systems are managed by Maestro, which gives IT managers complete oversight and control over their meeting room estate.
The StarLeaf Cloud is a global communications network offering businesses of all sizes an end-to-end solution combining an app, meeting room systems, conferencing, cloud interop, and management platforms for a seamless environment that just works. It does not rely on third-party products, keeping StarLeaf in full control, ensuring all users experience real-time reliability for all messaging, voice and video communications
Responding to its placement on the Tech Track 100, Mark Loney, CEO of StarLeaf from StarLeaf comments: “What makes StarLeaf unique is our focus on providing the very best user experience. We believe that a video conferencing platform should require no training for staff; they should be able to come into a meeting room and know intuitively how to use the system. Simplicity is key – video conferencing systems are there to facilitate business and that mind set has continued to sit at the forefront of our development.
Loney adds: “We are thrilled to be ranked on the Tech Track 100. Innovation sits at the core of what we do as a business and to see this recognised amongst the UK’s most elite tech companies is incredibly rewarding. We want to continue pushing this further – over the past few years we’ve experienced 60 per cent year-on-year growth and as we expand our global footprint we want to ensure this uptake continues by investing in our headcount, business development and technology offering.”
